Okay 18vtx00 you have given an excellent argument about tuners and I'm always looking to learn more about what is out there and who has the best products. If I were to go with the SCT, what do you recommend for my set up? I have an 2004 F350 CC 6.0, I have a K&N intake and 4 inch turbo back exhaust.
All the fuel in the world will not give you any more power without enough air to combust it.

If you waste fuel then you waste the potential horsepower that could be developed from properly combusting that fuel and in effect have wasted that power by not extracting it from the fuel. It would be great if we could extract 100% of the energy from our fuel but that isn't the case yet.
So yes riggz, it is a waste of fuel not a waste of horsepower. Kind of like arguing semantics is a waste of time and energy.

dump the edge, get a spartan SCT w/ some good files for your personal driving habbits, dump the k&n and go back to a stock air cleaner.
