Would get kinda tight in there at full compression.
yea and dirt, water, and dust would just help to keep it all runnin smooth!

speaking of which... anyone know where to find a good baffled oil pan? i really needed it this weekend!

I understand the time issue, the most time consuming part of putting my system together was figuring out what fittings to use. Which is why I went with the KRC aluminum pump, I didnt have to find the ******* fittings and hoses to hook a saginaw pump to the Charr-Lynn valve.

Sorry I dont have any personal exp with mounting a ram on a D60, but I did see some good examples by Billa Vista, I think you know where to look for his tech section, and a bgreen from an alaska 4x4 site, one of those might give ya some ideas, Dave.

you can buy a Moroso, or Hamburger pan that is a drag racing apllication. Many of the pans have doors that allow the oil to travel one direction, and not the other. You can also modify you existing pan to do the same. once you see one, you will recognize the simplicity.
Nothing however beats a "Dry Sump".

whew... Seans kit is bling blang! i knew i was buying quality parts but man, i feel like i am putting together a space shuttle. everything fits perfectly and the craftsmanship is crazy awesome! i'm excited to get the pump.

i figured if i was gonna do this kit i was gonna go all out so i ordered the performance modified pump with res and all.

only thing so far i wish i could change would be the fact that he doesnt include hoses and fittings. i understand his standing... since every application is different and custom it would be impossible to get the hoses right. this is hardly a complaint... i am just talking out loud.

right now i am trying to figure out the best way to mount the ram... thats gonna be my biggest hurdle. that and mounting the orbitrol valve

any ideas feel free!

i asked sean and he said that most people would be surprised at how strong they really are. most people dont give them the credit they deserve.

if it breaks... that gives me a great reason to upgrade. until then... WHEEL ON!

thats what i would do for sure if i went full hydro, the ford knuckles are bad about breaking when all the force is put through the top

for the kingpins, just use heat....the inside takes a 7/8 hexy key, so most people just take a long 7/8" lug nut and put it in the top pin, then the other end you can put a 7/8' socket over it...

you also got to think of the huge PITA a broken knuckle would bring on the trail, especially on a weekend ride you traveled a few hours to make
