Engine identification

I'm thinking of buying an engine to replace the 292 in my 62 but I need a little help figuring out exactly what it is..the casting on the side, C6ME-A, indicates it could be anything from a 390, 428, 330MD, 330HD, 359, 361, or 389. The owner indicates the intake manifold is stamped with:
6J23 7TE9425E
Does anyone have a decoder or reference that indicates what that manifold is? Maybe that information will indicate which engine it is.
Thanks for any help,
Denis
