I have a 58 f100. The vin indicates it came with a 6 banger. It currently has a v8. It has the arm burner exhaust crossover manifold. I would like to know if there is a way to determine which v8 it is. Thanks

do a google search for y block identification and a couple of sites should pop up that will help you decode the casting number on the block and heads that should help id the engine size. (assuming someone put a y-block in there. the valve covers are held down by centre bolts)
