Edge - Unable to read EOT (Engine Oil Temp)

Purchased a new edge Evolution II last week and downloaded the latest updates to the unit. (manuf. date was Dec 04/ 2006)

Noticed that EOT is always 0 (zero) but all other readings are fine.

Did I miss something? or Did I do something wrong?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

I thought (Don't quote me on this) I heard about this happening on some of the new 2007 trucks. If you can I would give Edge and call and they are pretty good about figuring out whats going on. I do not think it is something you have done. It is just something with the software.

Thanks for the info. Called Edge today and they took down the problem but offered no solution. Will call them again to check on the status.

Thumbs down

I'm going to ask anyway. Does your Edge users' manual list EOT as a monitored
parameter ?

I think my edge does not read EOT. I thought It was a option but did work on the 07. Since I bought the unit it has always been zero

The edge manual (page 41) does listed EOT (Engine Oil Temperature) as a valid monitored parameter. It has always shown 0 (zero) since I got it. Everything else is fine.

It is a small problem but annoying.
