50's Ford Drip Rail?
I just recently shaved my drip rails and am still finishing welding and grinding but am close to finish. All the pics i have seen are from 52 and up, basically i have yet to see a 48-50 with this mod done. Im wondering if there is supposed to be a gap, am i supposed to fab a peice to re-work the door seam to fit closer or do i just weld grind and finish it were it is.

not sure on your year of truck but on my 53 if you cut a long section out the two pieces would start to split and come apart. so i sould just cut of a couple of inches then weld. and did it that way all around. the two pieces are your outer roof and inner roof panel. if it splits and comes apart thats bad.
