Every Bronco II have owned, the windows would open no problem but I always had to help them to close. In the winter I wouln't dare open one as I couldn't even help it closed.
I am now on my 5th Bronco II. same problem. This one I would like to fix. I do not know if it is as simple as dirt/dry tracks or bad motor or just a loose nut behind the wheel. Any and all imput is much appreciated.
After cutting my hands up pretty good in the doors, I started to use dishwashing gloves to work in, and I cut the sleeves off an old sweatshirt to cover my arms.
works good under the dashboard, too.
Take the motor apart and regrease the gears, Also check the connectors if they are corroded they are not passing enough juice. Radio shack sells that pen that cleans contacts and leaves a protective coating, It also increases the conductivity of connections so it can pass more current. It is $6.00 or so and is well worth it I just ran out I had it a bit over a year and used it on everything it works!! They also make a pen that lays down a layer of gold to have a permanent corrosion free connection. I am going to get that too, when I get back to the shack.
