Hey guys... Bronco newbie here again looking for the firing order for the 2.9 motor. Most of the under-hood stickers are gone.
The p.o. replaced the dist. cap and left the dist bolt loose, so I figure the timing is out. Also one of the cap screws is broken off in the dist housing. Looks like I'm removing the distributor to remove the broken screw. I figured while I'm there, I'll check the plug order on the cap to make sure things are in good shape before I fire it up for the first time.
Sounds like they loosened or removed the dist. to change the TFI module. Before firing it up, I would check to make sure it was at TDC when doing the cap and make sure heat sink grease was applied to the module.
