the key with the nipple that is wedged between the 2 nuts? if thats what you are asking then dont worry about it, mine has been broke for about 100k now, never comes loose, i svc bearing every 30k and its always been tight, put that part together clean and greaseless
I've got automatic hubs and only have one nut on there to hold the bearings in place. I can't quite find the right socket for the nut either, i've tried 3 different ones that say they're for Ford trucks F-250&350 but only one works less than marginally. It always slips when I try to tighten it up to seat the bearings.

Well, there's your problem J/K . You might want to replace the Auto hubs while you're in there. They are prone to breaking at the most inconvenient times. They were one of the first things to break on mine so it's has Warn manual hubs now. IIRC that hub nut is different than the manual nut. HAve you stried the mega-auto part stores for a loaner tool. ie. Autozone, Murrays ect.
Got everything done and put back together a couple weeks ago. Thanks everyone for your help! My truck seems to pull to the right a little more now after I finished everything though. Any ideas? I did move my rear tires up to the front, could this cause the problem? Also, I couldn't find the right socket for the wheel bearing nut so I couldn't torque it properly. The right side could be a little tight.
