if theirs no grease fittings it cant be greased. some times you can get away with spraying them with penetrating oil you might get some lube in but theyre self sealed.
You can push them apart, take off the caps, repack with grease and reinstall... but s mentioned, it would be easier to just install new u-joints with zerks and not have to werry about it for another 60k miles.
BS, as the u-joints dry up they rob you of milage. If you wait for them to fail, you've wasted lots of money on gas. Put in some new "Spicers" their premium double seals models with zerks!

I replace my rear U joint with the el cheapo from Advance Auto, even came with a zerk. That was 7 years ago and it's still going strong.
Nothing wrong with waiting a little while before replacement. The guy is keeping an ear to the situation. I'll bet he'll do fine.
When it comes to bearings, you never go el-cheapo especially if they're OE and have never been changed. They're a wearable part that should be replaced before they fail. When they dry up, they start dragging and cost you milage & money$$$...................
