Might want to look closer at that number. C6AE is good as long as you know for sure it’s a 6 and not an 8. The 9426 should really be 9425. The 8 at the very end should be a letter, not a number. Look at it real close, maybe use a wire brush on it. It could be a B, E, G, H or something like that.
What he said. "9425" is the code for an intake manifold. All Ford intake manifolds have that part number. C6AE means the part was released for production in 1966 ("C6"), is from the Ford standard auto line ("A"), and is an engine part ("E"). The last character is the engineering revision code. The first version is A, second is B, etc.

The number I thought was a 6 is probley a 5(it's not cast very clear), and the 8 on the end is a G. This makes it:
C6AE-9425-G
I searched for this and there is no explanation of the G. Do you guys know what that is for? Thanks for your help. Next time I'll have to take a closer look at the numbers.
You’re lucky, sometimes you can’t even make out what the heck they are. C6AE-G is the 4V “S” intake used on the ‘66-’67 390GT, Mercury 410 and Ford 428. It’s not bad for a stock manifold but it still weighs a ton.
