Intake Manifold
I have a 1977 Ford with a 351M engine will a Intake manifold off a 400 fit it 4bbl Intake Thanks in advance

Yes, Except for the pistons and crankshaft, and harmonic balancer, the ford 400 and 351m are the same engine.

Almost anything can be switched between the FE blocks.

That is true, however the 351 and 400 engines are not FE blocks.

351m & the 400 are in the 335 series of engines, the 2v heard on a 351c fit as well

Actually the harmonic balances are the same too.

Actually, this is not necessarily true, it depends on the application.
The 1980/89 FoMoCo Light Truck Master Parts Catalog lists two part numbers, one for each engine:
D5AZ-6316-A for the 1980/82 351M
D2AZ-6316-C for the 1980/82 400
I forget what the differences are but I've seen

You guys at the end are just talking about the harmonic balancer not being the same but the intake will fit off a 400 engine right to a 351m

No the 351m and 400 are wider than a 351C. You'd have to get adapter plates made to take up the difference.

Yes they are externally balanced hence the difference...
