Trans fluid change question

I just changed my trans fluid today, not a full flush but just removing the pan and changing the filter. The kit I bought had a new rubber pan gasket and filter in it. The 'directions' say not to use the gasket in the kit if the pan has a reusable gasket. Well, not knowing this before, I put the gasket on that was in the kit. My question is, will the new gasket pose a problem or should I just leave it on and keep the factory reusable gasket as a spare? Also, on the new gasket, I did not put any sealer on because the factory gasket did not have any.

You should be good till it leaks. Just keep an eye on it for leaks.

The reusable gkst is was should have put back on tran. their is reason for that gkst being on there in first place and it more and liklly would not leak as easy too.
