yea stick diesels suck for anything fun with power, but its still fun. Im not really building it to race...but I want it to go fast........damn I need an auto
I'll trade ya. I have no interest in racing my truck. There's other toys for that.
Clutch, reg return, and OBA are not going to make up 1.5 truck lengths. Run it in the 120 Race tune next time with the above mods and I bet its a whole lot closer. the 140 just dumps too much fuel to it that the stock turbo cant clean up (i.e. 140 smoke) Oh and the 37's and the extra wind drag from the lift aint helpin.(looks damn good, but just aint helpin)
I find this sometimes to be true because the volume of oil needed for the smoke seems to be higher enough for me that it lowers the injection pressure. I have found on my setup with a factory pump. . .. 80 Eco is almost the fastest. On the dyno with the IPR acting up. . . . stock was the most powerful!!

Not really, i'm in Wisconsin. As cool as it would be to have a six speed, I don't think I could rip my truck apart just yet. It is just getting broke in at 48k miles.

I hear you, but all my road going toys are gone so my truck is now kindof a toy. I hate being baited by one of the other two. BTW, keep that 68 Charger. I had a 70 Challenger 440 6pak and still kick myself for selling that but stuff happens.
if I shifted like the boys on this dodge site i could gain a bit... "no lift shifting" slammin the gears.. guy ran a 13.89 at 100.4 with minimal mods. and hes only fueling to 2700rpm or something....silly
