dual alts.

i know the 6.0s had an option for dual alts. im not sure if the 7.3 even does? i having picked which truck to go with yet but am leaning tward the 7.3 does it just have a bracket and plug that isnt used on all the engines and you just buy the alt and a bigger belt for it to work?

Yes they do, it's the ambulance package. I think the secondary alt is mounted below the right side exhaust manifold.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure the single alt version doesn't have the correct bracketing to hold the second alt. No clue about the wiring, but I'd bet it isn't there either.
