valve cover powder coating?
I've heard mixed things, good and bad, about powder coating valve covers. I'm looking to get a chrome finish on the "power by Ford" valve covers for my 352. Anyone done this? let me know your results and post a pic if you can.

hey nate..first off, powder coating is the bomb..you simply can"t beat it!!, won"t chip , scratch, peel...almost indestructible!!but , if it"s a total chrome look you want the maybe you should look into getting them plated, the chrome powder coating looks kind of cheap as far sa i"m concerned.. we run a powder coating shop and i really try to discourage people from doing anythin in chrome, have you considered doing them in a translucent color?.. with this process we spray the part with the chrome and bake it for 20 minutes then we apply a top color and bake it again...the result is incredible!!i just did my timing cover in a transulcent purple and it looks awsome!!..paul..
