custom valve covers?

ok so im wanting to find a custom set of valve covers for my 302 i have found some out there but they are super costly for the etched ones. just looking for a set that says ford on them or maybe f-100 or something like that does anyone know a website i can go to to find these been to ford racing and a few well known others but not finding exactly what im looking for or that suits me.i like the finned ones that are powder coated blue but im not sure if they have a matching air cleaner .

I dont know excactly what you're lookin for but a few episodes back on Gearz TV show, Stacey David showed how to make a stencil out of vinyl graphics and then sandblast chrome valve covers and you could make what ever design you would like. You could do that with powdercoated valve covers or aluminum covers or whatever. The sandblasting would etch into the surface and once you remove the taped out design you would have what you want. Maybe you could find the episode I'm talkin about or maybe you understand what I'm talkin about. It's not that complicated, and then you could have a custom design.

Trucks on the PowerBlock did the same thing with Das Bronco.

Cool idea, but they blasted the logo and taped off the rest of the cover. Looked awesome!

I thought a blue oval logo from a late model tailgate or grille on a smooth chrome cover would look sweet also.

That's what it was, it was Trucks not Gearz. I'm getting goofier all the time. I remember what they did, but forgot the show. I remember it was on Powerblock TV anyway but I thought it was Gearz Anyway, it's a great idea and very easy to do.

Looks cool Don! nicely done.

(but it sure seems likes there's not enough bolt holes in those covers.......)

LOL...just pulling your chain a little bit. Did you etch those in with a sandblaster? What did you use for a template?

Bobby
