i will find out when the last day of the seaon is, it has to be getting close. i am curious how the truck will run the way she sits. i will have to be carefull, if i launch too hard i will break stuff, the axle wind-up is horrible after the 14.7 is tuned in
i have a buddy with a dyno right up the road but my truck is too tall...... if i go to the track she will get a soft run and if it fells ok on launch then the second time is ***** to the walls
You ar ethe tranny man what are you worried about. You preach the c00n mod now back it up. Just kiddin dude. I know where you come from. Let me know I may be able to do it. That aint that far I done more than that for breakfast.
Shoot, I'm way too poor to actually get anything from you guys.
I just love seeing Diesels that will kick the tail off anything else.
And, it gives me an excuse not to drive through Kansas on the way back. Seen it 5 times, which is enough for me.
you would be suprised at how much stuff I give away. If you wanna come, don't let money stop you.
i'm not worried about the tranny, i'm worried about getting a driveshaft through the floor in my lap, you should see what my truck does if i just build it up. if i build it up and launch it you would swear my trans is slipping if you didnt knwo any better. the whole dash shakes violently, your teeth rattle, and the spring hits the exhaust pipe. the wind-up hits so hard it has actually torn my center support bearing's bushing out and the bearing is damaged now. Its really cool to watch according to my buddy. he was right behind me leaving work from a light, i let her go with all she had. his words... the rear of the truck lifted a good 2 feet...... imagine what the pinion angle looks like.......
