need new clutch

1990 7.3l ats turbo zf5 what kind of clutch would you guys recommend??

If the OEM DMFW (dual mass flywheel) is ok, it is best.... if you use it then you will not get trans noise. If you want to switch up look at a LUK clutch system.... some rollover noise will present itself though......

I would use the luk. Like PLC said there have been some noise problems but I have put a bunch of these kits in and the only trucks that I have seen or actually heard of having this noise problem has been trucks that have 6.9's in them that had ZF's put behind them.

I haven't ever seen a problem with the 7.3's that have had the dampened clutch kit put in. Mechanical or Powerstrokes. There may be some guys chime in on this about there trucks but it seems like it has only been the 6.9/ZF.
