Curt, in case you're not clear based on the above, the answer is that the 332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410, 427 and 428 (all "FE" series engines), as produced from the late 50s through 1976, all had the same engine-to-bellhousing bolt pattern. In addition, the FT engines (produced through the late 70s, at least) had the same pattern, so you can use a tranny off a FT engine on a 352 FE. The FT came in quite a few displacements, but the most common are the 361 and 391.
keep in mind, the truck bellhousings are 7/16 deeper than a car bellhousing. This is good in a way because you can fit a large clutch in a truck bellhousing because the angle is different. To do the same in a car bellhousing, you must use a Cobra Jet or 390GT bellhousing which has the extra hump in it. The truck bellhousing does not need the hump.
