Wheel question?

Since there isn't much going on in here, I thought I'd ask a curiosity question:
Did Ford ever offer OEM alloy wheels in the 5x5 truck bolt pattern? If so, what year(s), size(s)?

They offered styled steel wheels but no alloys that I recall.

If we are talking the 5x5.5 bolt pattern , Ford offered several alloy wheel options starting in the late seventies. I have found 15x7 and 15x6 wheels

I believe they offered an aluminum slot and a turbine style aluminum rims in the 70's. Then I think there was a factory "American Racing Outlaw" style rim in the late 80's & 90's.

I think Number Dummy would be the one for the exact info.

OK, someone I know is looking for wheels, and I didn't want him on a snipe hunt. Those slotted mag style ones on the van are pretty sweet.

They also made a aluminum modular on the 90's F150. 15x7 I believe.

The pattern remained with 5x5.5 until the end of the '96 model year. Broncos, F150, Vans etc. were all the same pattern. In '97 the pattern changed to 5x135mm.

I maybe a little bias, but the OEM slots from the 70's trucks look great on our trucks. I prefer them sans center caps.

ZSK,
Great looking truck!! I agree, the Ford slotted mags look great. There was a set at the local pick-a-part last summer and I made the mistake of walking by them.....I've been regretting it ever since.

Mine are factory 15x7 from the late 80's/early 90's I think.
