6.2 build question

What was the last year it was available in the non-Raptor F150?
What body configurations were available?

2011-14. It was in HD trucks, and Limiteds. I have a 2013 lariat. It has the Max tow. (3.73s, Big mirrors, 11k hitch, etc, ) I bought my truck used, and I travelled a long way to get it. A 150 with a 6.2 is somewhat rare, but I wanted mine for towing, and Im old fashioned, Im not wild about the ecoboost, and I keep my vehicles for a very long time, Im usually the last owner......

I prefer normally aspirated also.
I searched auto trader and didn't see much for sure

So the F150 isn't like the older 5 vs 7 lug, correct?

the 7 lug trucks are the HD payload package. Mine is the 6 lug, and mine has the max tow package. the GVWR on mine is 7700. I saw a 2014 truck that had a 6.2, it did not have max tow, and 3.55 gears. If you are not going to tow thats the one to find.

Have the 6.2L in my Platinum 2WD SuperCrew standard bed with max tow package (including tow mirrors). It was the sole reason why I bought the truck, and it was cheap too because the used car dealer didn't really know just how rare this engine is; in fact, they didn't even advertise the displacement with the simple statement that it had a V8.

Absolutely love it.

But since Ford dropped the 6.2 from the 2015+ MYs, when it's time for me to get a new truck, I don't know if I will jump to the current generation or stick with the previous generation by looking the last offering of a 6.2L in a 2014 model, depending upon the street pricing of 2014's when I'm on the hunt.

If I buy a new truck, I will keep the 2013. my 2001 will go. I will keep the 2013 for recreation. I bought it for that purpose, and I do not plan to ever sell it.

2010 Raptor only late avalbility
2011/2012 Raptor, Limited (2011 only), Harley, Lariat and Platinum
2013/2014 the 6.2 became available down to the XLT line and you can find them every once and awhile, VERY rare though!

I can't say enough good things about my 6.2!

Thanks. Truly love my truck. Never an issue other than exhaust manifolds. Never. Early mid life crisis and getting sick of hearing about the TT EBs makes me look at the 6.2.

the 6.2 is so much fun stock, but with a tune It's a monster from what I understand. I'l be getting mine tuned here within a few months. Ford really restricted the TQ and power until higher in the power band.

The 6.2 was optional on Lariets. I know this in my trucks case because I have the window sticker. it was 2500 extra.
