It was just a suggestion some people like the valves some don't.

I just found a better deal, The local ford dealer will sell me a card for 10 oil changes on my 7.3l for $399. That comes out to less than $40 for 15 qts of 10w30 motorcraft as well as the filter. Cant beat that

This is what I use too. I have a Oilguard bypass filter and have the oil analyzed every 3k to 5k. Now I'm changing oil every 10k.

Before I started all of this I was using Rotella 15w-40 without any problems, it was just harder to start in the winter.
