Hypertech 3
Bought the programmer and got 4 error codes...p1249..Wastegate I hear..The others have letters in them and I read that they are not errors. What is wastegate error? Tried to program and got Error 95 please call...1-800-helpme..could the error codes keep it from working? I cleared them like it said

Your DTCs should be in the form of Pxxxx, Cxxxx, or Bxxxx. Code 95 sounds like a hypertech error that you will need to call hypertech to resolve. Most likely it's a calibration code that they just need to update your box, or the cable isn't properly connected or shorting out.

Code p1249 is wastegate not detected, if you have installed a larger exaust, and or air cleaner, your pushing the waste gate open too easily. This means the spring is to weak to help boost get up to par. I replaced my wastegate when this happened. Problem gone. You can tell by if your getting alot of whistle out of your exaust. Once I replaced wastegate I never got code P1249 again.

picked up a good one for 142. a bd turbo.main problem I think will be adjusting it. Oh and by the way..my hypertech code 95 means theres a vin on it(not mine) or a stock setting...AKA..Paperweight! LOWLIFE Ebayer

they want 250.00 to swap it out!..I opened a Dispute with Ebay and Paypal But Im feeling like its the "buyer Beware" answer is gonna be the outcome.
