Welcome to this forum.
Though it won`t be real cheaply done here`s the link from a search to the Toy swap thread by three of our best: https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...60_Trucks.html
I don`t know all the years of Ford gear boxes that will interchange with your 60 but maybe someone will jump in soon.
does anyone sell a reasonablly priced rebuild kit for my application. Mid fifty f-100 is about crazy with thier prices. I know parts for vintage vehicles are expencive, but come on!!!!!
I don't know if this will help but I thought I throw it out there.
If you're looking for parts like bearings, seals and fittings try the industrial places that deal this kind of stuff. I have gone to these places with worn parts and usually they are able to make them up to something in their inventory. Best bet is to get one of the older guys there who have been around for a while and knows the inventory without having to look it up. He'll be able to look at and say, "Yeah, they use one just like it on an ACME dozer".
I don't know the specific parts you need but if they're somewhat generic, and you have any of these types of businesses in your area, it's worth a try. Also, talk to places they might work on this type of part like front end shops, truck shops and industrial equipment shops. They may not be able to help but they might be able to point to places that might. It might take some time to find the parts you're looking for but you're going to spend either time or money, there's no getting around it.
Good luck and let us know how you do, it could come in handy for others on the board.
