Hey Gents...
Just had my "new to me" stock 04 6.0 F-350 S/C LB Lariat in for warranty work and was allowed to wach some of the work done...(I know the dealer well)...
Here's the list of replaced parts...(It has 89,000 pretty trouble free miles)
ICP sensor
#5 fuel injector
EGR Valve
Truck runs crisp and seems stronger...I can feel a difference because it has a Std trans. and I can really rev it up or short shift it.
Now I need advice on whether to unplug the new EGR valve now or not.
What do you 6.0 pros think??
Truck has been super reliable in it's history and I really love it!
It has Synthetic Del Vac in it now for oil....

you've had 89,000 trouble free miles, don't mess with success in my opinion. If it ain't broke, don'y fix it!
Here is the thing and I know it's arguing semantics(those that know me on the board know I like to do that) and that is just because the old EGR valve lasted 89k doesn't necessarily mean that this new one will, now you can get it electronically shut off via a tuner(which is what I have done on mine and I have not noticed any problems what so ever).
