I purchased a set of wheels from an expedition 18" crome that also has the TPMS that my 07 f150 has. After 2 days of driving about 35 miles, the light come on that i have a flat..... What can i do or do i need to do to fix this problem. I love the wheels but the light being on sucks on a brand new truck
Most local tire stores (reputable ones) will most likely have the equipment to do it, otherwise, go to a good dealer. All in all, it doesn't take that long to program them so it shouldn't be that bad, 1/2 hr. at the most.
The light resets after sitting over night usually on mine, then 20
or so miles in it will come back on. The dealer told me to bring it
in and in 15 20 minutes they can re program it for the 22s. I'm
just leaving it that way for now as I plan to change back to my
18s for the winter and all you have to do is push the reset button
on the in dash computer. It does suck to have the little idiot icon
lit up but......
