what are the block numbers on the 85 351 w 4v ho i got one for 300$ maybe my trucks i havin problems iwth the 300 i got and im tried of dumpin money in it the guy says the 351 runs strong so maybe i wnt have to dump money in to that one.. god~! i love/hate my ford...
ok after that i have a question goin down the road with highbeams on the lights will go out completely after clickin them off the normal lights will come back on wdf?
im also havin a problem with startin it i can jump it fine but it wont start off the battery not had it tested yet goin to do that in a few mins any help would be great
as far as the head lights turning off and on when high beams are being used. the high beam switch on the floor needs to be replace. they go bad alot. as far as hard to start. i would clean up all the ends of the cables and grounding. 9/10 dirty ends can cause a hard start like the bat is dead.

ended up being a bad battery .. dang thing was only 2 months old.. ill replace the switch for the high beams.. hope that helps me..
i forgot another problem i had maybe this had to do with the battery i put a cd player in to the truck usin the fac. wireing so it would come on and off with the key while this problem was goin on the dang thing would shut off and do all kinds of crazy things.. hope i did nt mess it up.. any tips would be great
found a new 351 ho for it goin to be payin about 200$ they say its from a truck that got hit in the rear goin this weekend to get it. was told it has 150K on it has been sittin on a engine stand for 3 years and that he might have 2 oil pans for it 1 for 2wd and 1 for 4wd and maybe the fly wheel i am needing ill try to post pics of it when i get it home
