'05 Front Grill Emblem Replacement
Hello All,
Just looking for options for the front Ford oval emblem on the 2005 (larger size) SD as mine has started flaking apart. I assume that I hit a rock or something and started it cracking and looks like crap now.
I would like to find a replacement in either billet or something else like the TX flag or something. If people have suggestions on where I can find something like this, it would be a big help. I have tried searching, but can only seem to find the 04 and before smaller ones.

Hi Neil,
The planetauto doesn't carry the larger size for the 05-07. Out of luck there. This is what I am running up against. Everyone seems to have the 99-04 7" size but not the big ones.

The only problem I might expect from Checker is the quality of the piece - but I don't know.

got my chrome replacements all the way around and blue front oval from the site below. my blue oval front was delaminating too. this one seems to be holding up much better. cancel that, i see they don't have the fronts anymore.

I emailed them a few weeks ago and they don't have any of the large 9" size ones. My quest continues.
I am checking with Steve at Billetbadges to see what he can do custom. If I am going to spend some cash, I might as well get something other than FORD on the front!

Steve at Billet Badges just made me a custom large 9" oval. I was going to put it on my 01 with a billet grille.....but my billet grille is bowed, so I either have to bend the badge or just put it on my 07.
Great guy to deal with and he can do a variety of designs, fonts, etc... to really make something custom for you.
