I have seen plenty of various FORD emblems in parts catalogs but I have not seen a Camper Special emblem that mounts right in front of the cab just immediately aft of the hood, on the side of the truck. The one on the left side of my truck is missing and I would like to replace it.
Truckboy, are you talking about the two-level italicized "Camper Special" emblem that is lower on the quarter panel, or the long rectangular (4" approx. length) straight one that is high on the panel?
It is the one that is up high on the panel, just below the top edge. In a fairly normal font style it says "Camper" and then in a fancier scrypt lettering it says "Special". It is a little longer than 4" but it is not very tall.
I regularily go to a parts pull place, and often see decals and emblems like that that I don't need. I'll keep an eye out for you...fire me over your email address requesting that I do so! joshua@dataandvoiceconsulting.com
