there is a green wire that you have to tie into to be hot all of the time that is why i am trying to locate how to remove the switch assy with out having to take the dashn apart
Thanks, Great diagram, I have my stuff hooked up to two of the upfitter switches now, but me not smart enough to figure out how to make them hot when the key is off..
On the 2007 I had a jumper made in place of one of the relays and it worked great..
They are 4 switches that Ford puts in the dash,, they have wires stubbed out under the dash that you can hook up to anything 12V you want to run, the first two are 30amp and the second two are 10amp
You can power lights, radios, what ever you want to with them.. I power my two way radio and would like to make them hot all the time so when I turn the key off, the radio will stay on until I turn the upfitter switch off...
Assuming the F250 & 350 dash are identical - pop out the 2 lozenge shaped panels at the bottom of the center dash - one has the cig liter, and the other is either blank or has the aux inout jack. They just pop out. Under them you will find a screw - 10 mm I think - take them out, and then you can work the whole center part of the dash off. The switches are easily accessed then ....
