Is it worth putting a bts valvebody in my truck? It has about 97000 miles on the stock all original trans. It shows no sign of trouble just would like it to feel a little better when pulling heavy loads. My current mods are listed in my sig. Let me know, I am also considering going to a dp tuner if I decide to do this, Aaron.
Dp + stock tranny without BTS won't live nearly as long as getting the BTS. If possible, get the BTS first and then let Jody know you have it so he can tweak his tunes in that direction for you.
I am sure Brian can tune the BTS-VB to your edge. Sure you know about the DP-TUNER so I will not harp on it. You will figure that out yourself. Good luck
Is it worth putting the valvebody on my trans with that many miles or am I wasting money until it finnaly goes and I have to replace it, As I said that could be a while as it shows no signs of trouble now.
read up in the 94-97 powerstroke forum on the"c00nhunterjoe's shift kit videos" and in the mean time watch my videos of my homemade shift kit, the truck has turned over 225k and still shifting great http://youtube.com/user/c00nhunterjoe
He probably is a little more than 10 hours away from Washington. Lucky for him, BTS is in Arkansas, just over the Missouri border. I personally drove from BTS to Mike's house in just about 8 hours.
