I think the truck looks better without them. But it is a PITA to get up in the truck. It is a long way up to get in there...
I would suggest saving for a set of AMP retractable steps. Those are awesome. When I installed mine I took my factory steps off a couple days earlier... boy was that a mistake. I bruised my legs many times falling into or out of the truck...thinking that they were there....
not once have i used my bars...ya its factory height but still...i enjoy jumping in and out....my other option is leaving them on and gettting them powdercoated the same color as my bumper
