You may want to keep them on for awhile after you get the lift done so you can see just how much taller the truck is. You may get tired of literally climbing in to the truck. You can always take them off later.

i would def. keep them on for a couple days

its quite a jump into the truck without them and i dont know if i would want to do it everytime i get it

heck, i even fall out of my 99 with 6" lift and 37's on occasion when my foot catchse the floor mats just right (they are the high lipped catch-all type)

Leave them on for the lift. If don't like how they look, take them off. If you like how they look, do whatever you want.

Take them off. If you are 6'4" you shouldn't have any problems and it makes the truck look 45% better.

I'd say leave 'em on. Even at 22, you gotta get tired of falling after a while.
