Possible cause for "clutch chatter" =
Grease on the clutch disc; out of round or warped flywheel. If the flywheel is warped, and you had it re-surfaced (turned), that won't solve the problem. Once heat spots develop on flywheels, no amount of resurfacing will help...you'll need to replace it.
When you put it together, did you spray the disc/plate/flywheel off with brake clean first? If not, then it's got oil on it and will FOREVER chatter.
One other question: Is this a 302 truck? If you removed the flywheel, did you use thread sealer on the bolts when you put it back on? The flywheel bolts go THRU to the inside of motor. It will seep oil and ruin a new clutch(don't ask me how I know this). Back in early 80's I had this problem even after a couple clutches and never could figure out why. It would take a couple days, but it would start shaking again. Once I realized the problem, sealed the bolts and it was smooth sailing from then on.
