1990 uses a different controller.
Same wiring will not work.
Relay on the 90 model is located on the rear of the intake manifold.
Power is supplied to the relay from the ignition switch when it is in the run position.
To switch to manual, remove the white wire from the relay.
Then attach a wire to that terminal that you run inside the cab.
Attach it to one terminal of a momentary switch.
Attach a wire to the other terminal of the switch, and run it to a good ground.
To operate the glow plugs, turn the key to ON.
Push the switch for 10 seconds.
Start the engine.
The relay/glow plugs will not work when the key is in the OFF position.
