I was wondering if anyone has bypassed their glow plug relay?? And the do's and don'ts, why and why not..
Thanks
Welcome to the forum.
I have bypassed my relay in favor of manual control. I didn't want the glow plugs on for up to two minutes after the engine was started. I live in a mild weather climate and it's just not necessary for me. If you live in an area where it gets arctic cold in the winter then I recommend that you leave it connected.
Oh and the easy way to bypass the relay is to disconnect the ground side of the two small wires and run that terminal to a momentary switch that completes the circuit to ground.
