I thought it was funny.. Around here you dont run into too many Older men who actually enjoy street racing.. Most times we get them yelling at us for either dumping soot or driving fast... It's nice to see someone of the prior generation willing to get down and have some illegal fun Keeps you young..
Careful Storm, remember its the old guys that design those mods and toys you kids enjoy so much. Soon it will be your turn<SMILE>

No offense taken, seriously. I used to think it was funny too. A couple of times I got schooled by them older guys, too!
Why is it that it always seems to be the 'stangers that want to play? Up here, it seems like all of the camaro guys (and I'm one of them) know better. Maybe the camaro's don't want to be embarrassed and the mustang folks just want to see what big brother's all about, I don't know - funny though.
Had a good time a few weeks back getting on the freeway with a Mistu turbo eclipse on my rear - he tried, but couldn't get around me until I let off about 105. He did give me a thumbs-up when he went by, though.
I guess I'll never grow up - don't want to anyway!

They like playing chicken with semis... and other hard immovable objects.
I mean seriously, I've had so many of them get PO'd when the lane I'm in is moving faster than their lane. I'm not even trying to pass them, just following traffic. Before I know it, they're cutting around people on the right, even semis.
What was funny was one of the semis must have seen the guy being an idiot and cut him right off. Rather funny seeing the ABS come on at 70MPH...
I rarely race Hemis... especially not after the time I pulled away from a stoplight and got about 4 truck lengths in front and eased off. The guy went right around a semi who was in the left lane of a 4-lane road. And went around on the LEFT into oncoming traffic.
Just not worth it

That is another reason why i do not want a car. Every one respects u in a truck. Ur doin 75 on the high way, and people are slow in front of u. They always get out of ur way. People in cars never do that. But of course i dont know what it is like driving a honda civic and being tale gated buy a excursion or a sd . Mayb i should move were u guys are, or jack my truck up another 6 inchs or just take my muffler off

Im only 26, but my dad just turned 55, and he'll still mashes the pedal everywhere he goes, sometimes im scared of driving with him. With all the balck smoke he lets out he's a one man ozone killer.
