I was trying to change the tune with my SCT and I got a TCB fail on the Stupid Screen, I could not check DTC's or reprogram to stock any help GREATLY APPRECIATED. I need to tow my trailer and would like to get the ULTRA COMP of the brain. HELP

 

Well I retried after letting it sit and it worked. No more fail code and program loaded. Prayer works.

 

mine did that last night too, i let it sit for half an hour and it loaded. the truck was stuck, would not do anything, i couldnt even return it to stock, so i know how you feel.

 

I ran into the same problem, what I do is turn off the key, unplug the SCT. Then I retry the tuner again. This works well for me.

seems to be that the data cables are very sensitive, especially where the dlc cable goes into the top of the SCT. set the unit down when programming and DO NOT move it at all during programming. this was the only way i got mine to finally program.

 

I sent mine back to SCT and had them replace the cable.... works great now!
