this is the code i keep getting with my hypertech III on when i take it off the code never comes back. is there a good reason for this or is it just somthing that happens?

as long as the tune is set to stock i have no code. but if i tune it the code pops up. i was just wondering if the tune pushes the boost up and the wastegate is just going bad and wont work at the higher setting

ok now no matter what i get the dtc now. where do i start to fix this? will just the WW fix this code? or is it going to start adding up into one big bill? i thank you for your help in advance.

KH5 DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE P1249 — CHECK KOEO FOR P1690
- DTC P1249 indicates that the PCM detected the turbo was overboosting.
- Possible causes:
- short to ground
- plugged WGC hose or port
- WGC solenoid
- WGC actuator
- WGC valve
- damaged PCM
- Perform KOEO On-Demand Self Test.

- Disconnect the RED hose from the WGC actuator.
- Install Gauge Bar 014-00760 vacuum pump or equivalent to the hose.

When I was running the Hypertech I used to get that code all the time. When I switched to a DP tuner it no longer comes up instead I get a code p1211 all the time. It show up usually after I have my foot in it.
