I have any 2003 E150 with the stock radio 6 disk player and for some reason it won't let me eject my cd's. I know that I have 6 disks in there, So everytime I press the eject button it displays "no cd" or "initializing" or "cd error". The only thing that i tryed was to disconnect the battery- that didnt work.
I must say I don't know your CD player, and I have removed CD's from time to time, by positioning a blunt narrow probe (e.g. straightened paper clip) into the left side of the CD 'slot'. First look to see if there is a 'hole' anywhere near the left or right side of the slot, and if so, use the probe to press into this hole. If there is no hole, try probing the left side of the slot, and if no success, then try the right side of the slot. You may have to push about 1/2" to 1" of the probe in, finding a bit of resistance hopefully, then gently press further, to see the first CD eject. Of course, this presumes a CD is not physically 'stuck', such as having two CDs in the space that should have one, for instance.
I think before I disassembled the player, I would seek a 'courtesy assist' at your local dealer, since it is a factory installed device. Of course, a after market CD installer site may also be able to help, or may be best prepared for removing the device, and opening it to retrieve your CDs.
Good luck.
