SCT Code Reading

Can my SCT for my truck read codes on any make of vehicle or just Ford or just mine? I need to read a code from my wife's Saturn.

Plug it into the OBDII port and give it a try. I think it should be able to read the generic OBDII errors on any vehicle. Sadly you won't be able to program the Saturn with Matt's ultra comp file

According to the SCT user instructions it's supposed to work with any FORD vehicle, but I believe it should work on any OBDII vehicle, at least for the generic codes.

My SCT doesn't even read codes on my Ford. It programs it fine, but as code reader, I don't even try. Example: My old Superchips will read P04** codes with my throttle plate electronics disconnected, my Autoenginuity will read all codes (P1000 and even a bunch of U* codes after a flash), and on the same instance, the SCT comes back with nothing.

Is this SCT's method to verify that their product doesn't set any engine code?
