SCT xcal as a code reader?
How good is the sct at reading codes?
Does it read all the codes or just the common stuff?
Will it identify a bad injector, or egr?
I have a bucking problem and need the codes read.
I was planning a tuner soon. If the SCT will pull codes
I'd rather use that $100 - $200 towards the tuner than give it to a dealer.
Suggestions?

It's OK as a code reader, but I still use my old Predator instead. I've actually never done any diagnostics with the SCT itself as we use a laptop on my truck. I'm sure Matt will be along to answer this question later.
