Towing a gooseneck?
Thinking of modifying my X like
this to tow a gooseneck travel trailer.
Should be a piece of cake.....

Look closely at the pictures. It is reinforced with chains, and supported off of a receiver hitch.

Has any one used a tow buddy to haul a 5th wheel? That would be the way to actually do it.

Darn.... my Excursion does not have a tailgate that dros down... it has the swing open doors and lift up window.... WHAT AM I TO DO!!!!
Hope that guy has a 6 cylinder and not the little 4-banger under the hood.

That's funny right there... no matter who you are!
Thanks for the giggle and sharing this with us... certainly got me rolling on the floor. Especially the comment that he had to "air up" the rear tires a bit, around 160 (!!!) PSI. Besides that, everything looks totally safe! (Yeah, right!)
Wondering what he has plugged the wire into which runs out of the side of the trailer?
Maybe he modified the altinator to run 110 V in the back all the time? LOL LOL LOL
