Buzzing brake controller

After driving all the way home yesterday (towing 5er and boat ) ; I hit the brakes to pull into my yard and the brake controller started buzzing.

Any ideas?

I think you need to add a little more info...what vehicle? What controller? What did you already try to figure it out? Help us help you.

Is this a new controller? Some controllers do that every time. If its a rug you've been using for a long time, it could be the controller with an internal short, ready to die on you.
