Currently running Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 265/75/16s. I really am happy with what I have been running but I mainly want a more aggressive look without sacrificing handling (especially in winter).
Questions are: Can I go any larger on my stock 16 rims? And, obviously, what do y'all reccommend out there?
I'm not one to do a summer and winter set, so, as stated above, winter performance has to be there as well. A buddy of mine just picked up a set of Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 which look pretty bad-arsed.
I personally went with 285 Bridgestone dueller At revos, they perform really good in the winter + off road, wear really good, and look pretty agressive and almost no road noise.
I don't like the BFs. They are good, but it's all you ever see. Wanted to use something different. Kind of like trucks with Flowmaster dual exhaust out the back. It's over used. I went with Gibson dual exhaust out behind rear tires.
I ran the bfg muds in a 285 75 16 for about 45k miles and loved them. I would have replaced them with the same tire but they went up almost 20 bucks a tire since i bought them. I now run the firestone destination mts and love them just as much and they are reasonably priced. They claim 40k out of them also but we will see. I do a lot of hunting so I need mud tires, not sure about the a/ts.
