Add the S&B CAI to the list because the air intake tube that came with my kit is a P.O.S. Badly molded so that the MAF sensor can't seat and if used has an air leak. Guys I bought it from say a new one is on the way, but it's been a while. Plus don't try to run a Magnaflow 16612 and a Hellwig rear sway bar. The bar wont fit because the tail pipe runs right thru the same area.
I bought some 325/60R18 to mount on the stock rim because a bunch of other people had did it without problem. Well it did not fit for me, so I got them sitting in the garage trying to figure out what to do.

I was thinking about getting that size tire for my truck...what part didnt work...were they rubbing or just did not fit on the rim.
No they did fit on the rim but when they sat the truck down the tire was smushed up against the upper a-arm. Now I had just done the leveling kit and they where aligning it the same day and I did not find out till I was paying for it that the tried the tire before aligning it and then did not try again. I will probably try it now that it is aligned just to see but I don't know.
Has there been more people on here that have had problems with the ball joints wearing out quickly because of the leveling kit. I wanted to do this to my scab w/ 285's, but don't want to worry about my ball joints going to crap.
I know most of you guys have your own ideas what you think will make your truck look good, sound good and perform well but I've learned a long time ago what is known as the K.I.S.S. Theory. Keep It Simple Stupid is the way I go.
Maybe a little dress-up here and there but no messing with the suspension, drive-train or electronics for me.
I realize a lot of you want that personal touch to make your truck part of your personality, unfortunately it doesn't work very well most of the time.
I worked in the automotive industry in the Detroit area for a number of years. These vehicles were engineered to tolerate very little functional changes. That is unless you have mega-bucks.
