There are no remaining ones, it's a total of all the rep points you've got to date. When you get 100 points you get a little green beanie by your post count. If you want to know how many you have just try to give yourself some rep points by clicking on the Justice scales above your post count....you will get your total. I have 59.

Here's a moderator's explaination of the rep point system from the link I posted above:

If you go to a USER's post and you think it is a good post (good info, user went above and beyond, etc.) then you can click the Scales in the top right hand corner of THEIR post. A window will come up and allow you to click APPROVE or DISAPPROVE of their post and make a comment.

Always make a comment (gives the user more points) and click approve. You should not click DISAPPROVE (give negative points) in my opinion just because it could come back to haunt you (user will always be watching for you).

You can view the comments that user's gave you by clicking USER CP in the top left hand corner of the screen. When the new page comes up go to the bottom right and it should have Latest Reputation Received. You will have up to 15 comments from users (it used to only show 5). If you can't see any comments you either don't have any or you need to click the double DOWN ARROWS beside the points total. It will also show you for what thread as well. Click the thread title and you will see the post you received them on.

Once you get 100+ points then you will get 2 green squares beside your name. And so on for every 100 points. You will get points based on a users reputation. So for example, you will get little points from a new user but you will get more points from someone who has been here for a while that has a good reputation.

You do not get ANYTHING for the points you receive. It is basically just a pat on the back to make you feel good. Try not to abuse the point system and just give out points for fun or just because. Do it because you really feel as though a user went out of their way or deserve the points. You don't necessarily need to give a user points BACK just because they gave you some.
The green squares are only for reputation, nothing else.
Hope this helps.

Yep Neal, I try to pass out rep points al the time so i can get back to you guys for the really good stuff lol. I'm not sure what the rules are but it seem like every 5 times, then I can come back to you and the others here that are always posting great info.

Another tid bit, always write something when you leave rep points, it gives more than the normal point(s) what ever that is.

It's funny, there are no written rules anywhere that I could find. This subject gets brought up on the "Site Announcments" forum often. It's usually questions like coonhunterjoes, that started this one. I got curious when i noticed there were some members that had 2000 posts and 6 or 7 green beans. Yep, that's what I'm going to call them 'Green Beans', what do ya think? . Anyway, that's a very high percentage of rep points to post count ratio. It really depends on the forum you post in....I guess. IDK.

Here's another tidbit. Rep points coming from someone with a high post count gets you more points that..say someone with less than 50. I just got some rep ponts for this posting from a user with 48 posts, he didn't write anything down....it didn't add any points at all. My rep points stayed the same.

BTW: I'm working on getting TJ another green bean. He deserves it.

Cuda, I remember you had manuals online at one time. How did they work or do they still?

That's what I don't like about the rep system. You can make your entire rep posting jokes in the club forum and not know anything about anything.
