I've recieved points twice so far, both times from guys who've already posted in this thread. It was very humbling to realize I was being appreciated by the very people who have taught me virtually every thing I know about my truck. Even just giving me the confidence to put a wrench to the first diesel I've ever looked at. Part of what makes this forum so exceptional. Everybody who's willing to help is appreciated even if it's just passing on what you got from someone else. I should and will be giving points to others in the future. It's a great way to say thanks.

As long as you avoid the red ones it's all good.
I didn't know there were red ones. I gave a neg once to a troll. He was a newbie that came here looking for a fight. He referenced getting stolen parts for his truck and then used a bunch of profanity when confronted about his mid-night auto supply activities. The moderators kicked him off the site within minutes.

Talking Second "Green Bean"

I just wanted to share the following info so we can better understand the Mysterious Reputation Points system. I just recieved some rep from FTE Fred, he has +10k post count and is an administrator. It was worth 50 points....That's the most points I ever recieved from one person. Most times you guys here give 1 to 4 points. Our forum moderator Cookie gave 10 points, he has 9400+ post count.

Another One of the reasons for posting in this link was to get TJ Beggs a second Green Bean, so come on guys, rep away, especially the new kids on the block. I'm sure Tim has helped you.

Haha, I rememeber that. I was the first one to pipe up and say something to that little a-hole and I got negative rep points from alot of people because of it. "Picking on other users" they said. Cuda and I made sure he was never to return again
