Yes, that is the one... I know exactly where you're talking about. I love this area and I just saw a 60 acre parcel near Gordo go up for sale and, if I can afford it, I'm thinking of buying it. I grew up farming in S. Georgia and I'd love to try my hand at raising beef....can't quit my day job just yet though!

I was in the 114th CBCS out of Patrick, attached to the 1 CBCS out of Ramstein while in Bosnia, and I'm now in the 221st CBCS down here in Texas.

Besides Italy & Germany, I've also been to White Sands, Saudi, New Orleans for Katrina Recovery, Tyndall AFB (part of NORAD), a few places I can't mention, and about to do Bright Star in Egypt coming up in Nov...

Ahhh... The 3rd Herd... I've not personally worked with them, but lots of guys in my unit have. I worked the 100A & TRC-170s at Eskan in 2001 (prior to September 11th) just before they took it all out. For the Middle East, I thought it was a pretty decent place to be, considering the alternatives.

I've noticed that there are a lot of people here that are current and former military. I just want to say thank you. Without you this country would not be what it is. You fight so we don't have to.

Whole lotta nuthin' for a dozen years or so, spent some time in Marine Infantry reserve (except for most of a year on active duty during Desert Storm), settled down to Respiratory Therapy for 12 years. Got sick of that, went back to school, got degree in Computer Science, and now work in Medical Informatics as a Terminology Engineer (whatever that is).

1 wife (v2.0), two boys (11 and 10). ...and a daughter (26) from wife v1.0.

Yep two young kids that had all kind of life ahead of them. It affected all of us and I wasn't the only one that decided it was enough (in my case 25 years). Just too close together. Thanks brother and yes things are going in the right direction.
Please be careful out there and watch your back.

I'm excited about the job I just took - a rep for Schaeffer Oil. Training starts next week, and I've got a lot to learn. This is after having several different jobs over the past 4 years: a manager at Lowe's, then selling real estate, after that it was physician recruiting, and now it's selling for Schaeffer's. All of this at the ripe age of almost 28. I think I may have finally found something that I will enjoy, which I'm looking forward to. It's something that I have an interest in. I'm tired of switching jobs because I don't enjoy what I'm doing.

Waitress in a little family owned establishment for 15 years. When not working I spend my time at car shows with my 1970 Mach1 and 1956 F100 pro street truck or out muddin' with my BIG 4x4 mud truck. Also have a 27' travel trailer that when time allows I head to the mountains or FL Keys for a little well deserved R&R! I also want to say. I love my truck and am a die hard FORD gal!

I drive a 2002 F250 SD supercab shortbed 4x4 7.3 diesel, 2 1/2" lift with 35" tires.
